Let’s finish our round of interviews to our 2016 class of teachers with Keeley, who will entertain 1st graders with her fun lessons. Keeley is a primary school teacher who enjoys spending her summers working for language camps such as EF’s—often as a Senior Teacher, given her longtime experience in countries such as Spain and China. Let’s hear it from herself:
Introduce yourself to our friends at the camp!
Hello! My name is Keeley and I’m a 26 year old primary school trainee teacher from the UK! I’ve worked teaching English to children – big and small – since 2012, mainly in Spain and China. I love nothing more than having fun in my classes with my students and seeing them progress in their English ability. I was working in an English primary school until June of this year and am excited to be starting my training as a full time primary school teacher from September!
Why did you choose to be part of this camp?
Associazione “Why Not?” seems like a brilliant initiative—giving children the chance to study English at a camp without leaving their own town! I was also very excited by the drama and performance classes available!
What kind of teacher will you be at the camp?
I hope I’ll be a fun teacher with lots of high energy games and activities. If you don’t leave my classes feeling excited and tired, I won’t be satisified with my day. We’ll learn English by having fun and talking with our friends! Can’t wait to meet you all!
Thank you Keeley!
Camp 2016 is about to begin (only seven days!), and who knows what kind of surprises it has in store for our kids…
